Welcome to Suncourt Indian in Taupo, where we redefine the culinary experience! Our menu is a fusion of authentic Indian street food and Chinese and South Indian dishes, many of which are being introduced in Taupo. We take pride in offering a unique and exciting dining experience.

Millions of street food vendors make up India’s colour, sounds and smells. They nourish the appetites of busy office workers, sweaty rickshaw wallahs and hungry schoolchildren throughout the day. Our menu pays homage to these roadside culinary geniuses. Our food is the simple, earthy, lovingly prepared food of the people and represents the tastes of India today.

Our menu caters to all dietary needs with various gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options. We are dedicated to providing a modern, casual dining atmosphere where you can enjoy multiple vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes handcrafted with care by our talented chefs. Every dish uses authentic spices and ingredients, ensuring a unique dining experience.

At Suncourt Indian Taupo, we believe in more than just serving delicious food—we are deeply and unwaveringly committed to supporting our community. We consistently receive 5-star reviews for our dedication to being an active part of our community, which we cherish.

We love participating in a variety of local events, from community expos to environmental initiatives. Recently, we had the honour of catering for two fantastic community events: the COMAVAL Community & Volunteers Expo and Greening Day Taupo. Our delicious kai brought smiles to the dedicated volunteers and the kids at these events, making their experience even more enjoyable.

Last Mother’s Day, we teamed up with Simple Bakes Taupo to make it extra special for one deserving mom! She won a fabulous gift package and a voucher for dinner for two at Suncourt Indian.

Christmas is a time for giving and spreading joy, and our fantastic team from Suncourt Indian Taupo was there to help! For the fourth year in a row, we’ve reached out to 10 families in need who can’t afford to have dinner on their tables. No questions asked; we just wanted to make their Christmas a little brighter.

In December 2024, we celebrated our fifth year and reflected on our ongoing commitment to supporting Taupo communities. We are deeply grateful for the support and love we’ve received from the community. Our journey has been incredibly fulfilling, and we’ve seen the positive impact of our efforts on the smiles of the families we’ve helped. We look forward to many more years of making a difference.

At Suncourt Indian Taupo, we believe that our success as a small business is directly tied to the community that has supported us since day one.
