Millions of street food vendors make up the colour, sounds and smells of India. They nourish the appetites of busy office workers, sweaty rickshaw wallahs and hungry school children throughout the day. Our menu pays homage to these road side culinary geniuses. Our food is the simple earthy, lovingly prepared food of the people and represents the tastes of India today.

We respect your decisions and we cook all our vegetarian meals separately.

Came in a group of four adults and three children and everyone found something they really liked. Mainly a takeaway that has some seats, the quality of the food overcame any quibbles with the paper plates and bamboo cutlery. Great vegetarian options, fantastic samosas, everything seemed freshly cooked and distinctively flavoured. Breads are great as well. Very generous portions. Would definitely come back.

One of the best South Indian food I had in NZ. Did enjoyed other dishes as well brilliantly done.Very humble and friendly staff. You guys are doing a great job. Will recommend all my friends to visit this place.

Fantastic service!Excellent Food!What more do you need to hear?These guys are always great! Excellent authentic Indian, the best in town. They always go above and beyond for deliveries and looking after their customers.Tonight as an example I came in a couple of minutes after closing, they still made me some delicious Sagg, offered pleasant conversation and even gave me some extra rice!

The true essence of of an Indian restaurant. The food was authentic Indian stuff. The staffs were friendly but professional. However, the prices are on the higher side of affordable, which seems ideal fit for quantity and quality of food. But but but, if I am paying for food priced on the higher end I expect to be served with proper cutlery and not probably not paper plates and wooden cutlery (which I reckon is definitely great for takeaways)

Indian takeaway is always my go-to food, so I can say I am a pretty good judge of flavour and quality.What was ordered (this time!) -Garlic naan - full of flavour and not chewy!Prawn Pakora - delicousButter Paneer Masala - now this had such depth of flavour, the paneer was fresh, and I kept going back for more and used up the garlic naan to wipe the container clean!Suncourt seems to consider the customer - attention to detail will always make the customer smile. A+ for excellent customer service.If you are considering Indian Takeaway in Taupo - please take my word; the guys at Suncourt Indian are your place to go; you won't be disappointed.
